It took us a week to fully recover from what I would say was the worst moving experience of our lives. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE POSITIVE REVIEWS. In the past 10 years, we have moved 6 times (NY/job opportunities/ moving coast to coast) and it always took us an average of 5 hours to pack and move from one building to the other. Well, because these guys charge on an hourly basis, it took a crew of 5 GUYS a total of 11 HOURS to pack & move an average 2 bedroom apt – from 10 am – 9pm. It seemed like they were not trained and/or hired from third party services. THEY DID NOT AGREE TO WEAR MASKS and we felt extremely nervous & vulnerable since I’m pregnant (especially given the new delta variant).

Due to noise control laws we were extremely concerned that at 6pm they still had not arrived at our new rental. Their manager at one point suggested we slept at a hotel and continue the move on the next day(?!?!?!!?). We said absolutely not, we had a pet with us and then they were able to add two additional crew members at 7 pm to accelerate the process. At that point, with management on their necks the crew rushed so much it was a very messy & rather unpleasant experience. At 9pm the move was over and they charged us for an 11 hour service, which TOTALED ALMOST THE EQUIVALENT OF OUR MONTHLY RENT. WE COULD NOT BELIEVE IT.After discussing with the company’s management we were able to negotiate the price down, which I still don’t think was reasonable, but we were so tired we just wanted it all to be over with.

Unfortunately it did not end there.The next day we found out they packed our freezer and did not label it, only to find all our food rotten. In addition to a few broken wine glasses, boxes packaged with no care and/or logic and a call from our previous landlord saying they left a few drawers behind. What a joke. THEY ARE A WASTE OF TIME & MONEY. Do not hire them.

These guys are amazing!! This is our second time using them and to be honest likely our last because we just bought a home.

I would recommend these guys to anyone. They are efficient, careful and super friendly guys. They work hard but you don’t see any strain in them. I’m super appreciative of the team we had for our move. We had 2 trucks and 5 guys. I was worried about timing but none of them were worried.
