My move couldn’t have been more pain-free and easy. JJ and Vlad arrived right on time (a novelty for movers if you’ve ever hired them before) and worked efficiently to get my very difficult move done as smoothly as possible – even getting very creative with angles through some tight spots in my apartment. Hopefully won’t be moving for a while, but when I do, I’ll be calling these guys again!
Paul and his crew did an amazing job helping me move from San Francisco to Oakland this past weekend! Communication was great, they arrived early, and worked efficiently. They were super gentle with moving all of my stuff and even tackled moving my sofa into the bedroom area of the loft; bypassing the spiral staircase! This was my first time using professional movers and I couldn’t be happier choosing Pure Moving. I was moving from Oakland to San Mateo on my own which made me nervous, but JJ and Mark made the whole process smooth and efficient. JJ called me the morning of to let me know what time they planned to arrive at my place. He talked me through the pricing and was very transparent about everything. I had about 13 boxes, some furniture and a bed frame they took apart and reassembled at my new place. All in all it took about 4.5 hours including drive time, mostly because my new place wasn’t as easy to move into, but JJ and Mark made it seem so easy!
I ultimately chose Pure over the many other companies I reached out to because of their pricing structure – they don’t charge any fuel surcharges or by mileage, just the double drive time if over 10 miles. Their hourly rate was more competitive and the Yelp deal is just the cherry on top. I totally forgot I had purchased the Yelp deal until JJ reminded me (whew)! That’s how great they are.
